Membership

Features Of Membership

  • The member would use the name, style and logo of the society. Certificate of membership shall be issued to every member.
  • The society shall issue the propectus and application form for admission to Paramedical Courses conducted under the society on reasonable charge to students.
  • The society shall conduct examination at the end of the course. The controller of the examination would be a member of the society.
  • The society shall provide job assistance through the employment cell of the society.
  • The society shall provide assistance for securing better facilities for the members.
  • The society shall arrange advertisement of the member institution in the newspapers who has taken membership of the society if required.
  • The society shall make regular combined advertisements in the leading newspapers and televisions on sharing basis. And it is compulsory to participate in every combined advertisement as per the instructions of the society from time to time.
  • The society shall make necessary arrangement for the purchase of articles or otherthings needed by a member.
  • The society shall provide a specimen copy of all the certificates and course materials free of cost to the members.
  • The society offers all types of job oriented paramedical courses such as Nursing, Lab Technician, X-Ray Technicians, ECG Technicians, and Ayurvedic Nursing (Panchakarma & Massage) etc
  • The society shall not insist on fees tarrif among the members.
  • The examination centres for all the courses will be their own institution,

Rules And Regulations Of Membership

  • The members would use the name, style and logo of the society.
  • The institution willing to avail membership of the society shall submit an application for the same in the prescribed format and pay the fees as priscribed by the society (No refund of any kind of fees once remitted "under any circumstances)
  • The bank account shall not be operated in the name of PPMU.
  • Any contract entered in to by the member with any bank, financial institution, Govt. Department or anybody else is their own responsiblility. And for any ultravires activities by the member, the society will not be liable to make good the loss.
  • The member shall not be permitted to transfer the membership to anybody else under any circumstances. (Except in the case of transfer of ownership with the written sanction of the society.)
  • All members should fill the periodical statements regarding the strength of the students and employees, every three months. Once a membership application is accepted and the Certificate of Membership issued by the managing committee of the society, the society shall not refund the membership fees remitted.
  • The member is not entitled to admit any student for courses other than the PPMU courses or any other approved course instructed by the socety and not at all permitted to conduct the courses of their own and issue their certificates. In such event the membership shall be cancelled with/without a prior notice by the society.
  • Every member has the right to vote.
  • The society shall give approval to any other curriculam which is not already included in the PPMU curriculam, and for which the written approval maybe obtained from the society by submitting the programme before the managing committee of the society, as and when required.
  • The institute should collect the Certificate and Marksheets of passed students in time from the society, as soon as the resuits are published.
  • The member should introduce the course completed students to the employment cell of the society for better placement assistance.
  • The member should inform the surrounding job oppourtunites to the society.
  • The society shall not have any responsiblity on misleading, fraud operations unfavourbale activities or any ultravires activities made by the member. More over such activities undertaken by the members would lead to the cancellation of the membeship by advertising the same in the newspapers.
  • The member should contact the central adminstrative office of the society for every requirment, in writing.
  • The PPMU's authorised person shall inspect the relevent doucment at any time without intimation and the member should inform the society in writing about the changes made by the institutes from time to time.
  • It is the responsibility of the member to inform the society by registed post about the delay in receiving circulars or any other information sent by the society, change of address, Telephone Number etc. (if any) from time to time.
  • The society shall have the right to accept or reject the applications for membership. The selected institutes will be included in the list of membership.
  • The member is not entitled to display the certificate of membership after the date of expiry and if found so, the society shall have the right to take legal action against them and this shall be announced in local newspapers for public awareness.
  • Misuse of membership certificates such as pledging, mishandling, rewriting or destroying are serious offences and that may lead the member to face legal action.
  • The membership renewal shall be made within the expiry date with the revised fees effective at the time of renewals, if needed.
  • In the case of cancellation of membeship, the member should return the certificate of membeship to the society to maintain mutual accord.
  • It is compulsory to admit the students seeking admission for various Para Medical and Ayurvedic Nursing courses in the prescribed application form with prospectus provided by the society.
  • The member should supply the study materials prepared by the society and collect its cost prescribed by the society for various books.
  • Failure to conduct exams may be one of the reasons of the cancellation of membership.
  • The members shall display the notices sent by the society on the notice board, for the attention of public/students.
  • Legal disputes if any shall be subject to Palakkad Jurisdiction.

a) How To Avail Membership

The prescribed application for membership should be duly filled and signed by the proprietor/Director/Managing Director with Office Seal and be submitted to the Managing Committe of the Society along with the prescribed fees. The fees maybe remitted by Cheque or Demand Draft in favour of the treasurer of the society payable at Palakkad.
The managing committe shall have the right to accept or reject the application on the basis of the reports submited by the Consultant. The society shall issue the certificate of membership as acceptance of the same from the Board of Members of the Society, duly signed by the President and Secretary of the Society.

b) Minimum requirment To Avail Membership Of Paramedical Institutions

  • Minimum of 600-900 Sq.Ft. Building space.
  • A neat and Apt. place with pleasent atmosphere.
  • A front office to deal with the enquiry.
  • A minimum of one class room for theory classes.
  • Qualified faculties.
  • A Notice Board to display the notices for the attention of students.
  • Every member has the right to vote.
  • The society shall give approval to any other curriculam which is not already included in the PPMU curriculam, and for which the written approval maybe obtained from the society by submitting the programme before the managing committee of the society, as and when required.
  • Toilet facility for the students at the institute.
  • Note:The infrastructure of the institute shall be inspected by the Managing Committe of the Society on the basis of the reports submitted, before awarding membership

    * An inspection fees of Rs3000/- may be remitted along with the membership application form.(Excluding the charges for prospectus and other study materials

c) Reasons For Cancelling Membership

  • Failure in following the instructions given by PPMU
  • Any other contract entered in to by the member with any other institution
  • Failure in distributing PPMU study materials.
  • Inadequacy of updating the infracstructure of the institute from time to time.
  • Inadequacy of experienced faculites.
  • Failure in conducting exams and poor results.
  • Failure in particiapating in training programmes.
  • Failure in conducting course timely.
  • Commission of any subjects from the syllubus prescribed, in the curriculam.
  • Failure in submitting periodical reports.
  • Major punishable complaints made by any student of the member institute.
  • If anybody acts against the interest of the society and its showcause notice is not answered with in one week
  • If the person is dead..
  • Violation of any R & R 26 for membership.
  • Note: The society will have the discretionary power to remove any member found to be lazy in following the rules and regulations and carry out all the activities of the society with or without prior notice. It shall also have the right to promote a new member from the same place with immediate effect.
